Intro

The open source community and I have written various parts of the Echelon Lonworks protocol stack that work on Linux. The ANSI/EIA-709.1 document describes the Lonworks protocol. Chip manufactures provide some data sheets documenting protocol:

Hardware Interface and Linux kernel driver modules

Gesytec Provides various interfaces, and Linux Support drivers! I have had a lot of success with the PCI interface boards with MIP firmware.

Userspace code

I have created a GIT based repoitory at lon4linux git hub. Patches or pull requests welcome. I'm willing to work on this code, or modify it to your needs on a contract basis.
